Dubai: Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, expressed his deep sorrow and grief at the passing of the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He offered his sincere condolences and sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and to the Al Maktoum family and the people of the United Arab Emirates. Shehbaz Sharif said in a post on the X social media platform that Sheikh Ahmed dedicated his life to serving Dubai and the UAE with honour and nobility. He added that Pakistan deeply appreciates his valuable services. The Pakistani Prime Minister prayed to God Almighty to grant the deceased the highest place in Paradise, and to inspire his family with patience and solace.
