Best known for his award-winning film scores and long-lasting partnership with director Ken Loach, George Fenton also created the music for what became known as David Attenborough's Earth Trilogy: The Blue Planet, Planet Earth and Frozen Planet.
He also worked on 'Groundhog Day,' 'You've Got Mail,' 'Hitch,' 'Fool's Gold' and 'Planet Earth,' among many others.
The musician received five Oscar nominations, and soundtracked dozens of memorable nature films.
