Adidas Officially Launches Limited-Edition Pokémon Collection

Adidas just dropped its limited-edition Pokémon collection , the latest in a pretty wild list of collaborations celebrating the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The full collection includes over 10 new designs for a mix of the company’s most popular sneaker styles, including the Samba and Superstar II. Each shoe has an entirely distinct look inspired by a specific Pokémon, and the stars of the show aren’t too surprising. Prices range from $60 to $180 with full family sizing. Even better? Every sneaker is available to buy right now. Adidas Just Dropped Its 30th Anniversary Pokémon Collection See the collection at Sole Play See the collection at Adidas See the collection at Foot Locker Some features, like the gold embroidered Pokémon x Adidas logo, appear across the collection, but each shoe generally stands on its own two feet (get it) as a unique release. Here’s the full list of what’s available in specific styles: Every New Sneaker in the Adidas x Pokémon Collection Pikachu - Superstar II (Yellow) and Superstar II (White) Gastly - Adistar Control 3 (Out of Stock) Haunter - Adistar Control 5 Gengar - Adistar XLG 2.0 (Out of Stock) Charmander - Superstar II Charmeleon - Superstar II Charizard - Superstar Vintage Rayquaza - Adistar Control 5 Mewtwo - Samba As you can tell, the collection includes a mix of full evolution lines (i.e. Charmander to Charizard) as well as some particularly iconic individual Pokémon like Pikachu and Mewtwo. I got the chance to check out three specific shoes from the collection of time, and let’s just say I’m impressed. I don’t typically go for the most colorful looks in the world, but the designs have a range of boldness that lets you pick a vibe that goes best with your style. And, of course, based on whichever Pokémon you like best. The Mewtwo Superstars are a soft purple with a sleek iridescent sheen. While every shoe includes a token-esque shoelace charm with its featured Pokémon’s face, this pair also comes with a funky “liquid” tag featuring the legendary’s classic Psystrike move. On the bolder side, the Charmander sneakers show a full graphic of the Pokémon blowing some literal Ember into the iconic Samba stripes. It’s cool to see each shoe get its own little deep cut reference to a Pokémon’s type and even specific moveset. The (new!) illustrations of each Pokemon are all high quality, and the shoes themselves are, as you’d expect, pretty darn comfy. As a limited-edition collection, it’s worth noting that stock may be limited. The Pokémon TCG side of things has been plagued by an ongoing scalping crisis that, these days, seems to extend to anything connected to the Nintendo franchise. Speaking of, the collection forms part of some pretty extensive celebrations for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary. The beloved media powerhouse currently stands as the highest-grossing franchise of all time, and has already launched unique anniversary collaborations with Puma , Crocs , and even Krispy Kreme . I’m sure we’ll see plenty of more announcements through the end of the year, which, at the very least, will bring us slightly closer to the next mainline Pokemon generation .

Mbappe leaves Nike, signs with On as it forays into soccer

French soccer star Kylian Mbappe has ended his two-decade-long partnership with Nike and signed with ‌Swiss sportswear brand On, the latest blow for the American brand as newer rivals gain ground in the athletic footwear market. On plans to launch its first football boots in 2027, and also named former French player Thierry Henry as its director of football. On's U.S.-listed shares were up 5% in premarket trading. The Roger Federer-backed company is looking for growth in the Americas, which account for ‌more than half of its revenue. On has focused on full-price sales, but has struggled in the region this year ‌amid choppy economic spending. Mbappé's move to On ‌ends a relationship between the French national team captain ‌and Nike that dates ‌back to 2006, and comes at the heels of Nike's loss of recent World Cup winner ‌Spain's Lamine Yamal to Adidas. "We are proud of what we achieved together on and off the pitch. As he moves into the next phase of his career, we wish him continued success for what comes next," Nike said in a separate statement. Nike had increasingly leaned on Mbappé as one of the sport's leading global ambassadors following the latter stages of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo's career. The World Cup winner remained a centerpiece of Nike's football marketing at this year's FIFA World Cup, most recently receiving signature editions of its ‌Mercurial boots. "Once again it (football) has led me to one of the biggest changes in my life. Now, I find myself surrounded by innovators who dream of the same things I do," Mbappé said on his social media accounts.

Adidas — Bearish Selling Setup | Downside Potential

Adidas is currently developing a bearish structure, with price action showing increasing signs of weakness and selling pressure. The present setup is positioned toward the sell side, with the focus on a potential continuation into lower price territory. 📉🔥 The current market behaviour suggests that buyers are struggling to maintain sustained upside momentum, while sellers are becoming increasingly influential. This imbalance creates a favourable environment for a bearish scenario if the existing structure continues to deteriorate. The analysis is based on the broader price formation, momentum and signals generated through my trading methodology rather than reacting to a single candle or isolated market movement. From a technical perspective, the key consideration is whether the current weakness can develop into a sustained downward phase. If sellers maintain control and bearish momentum expands, adidas could continue progressing toward lower levels. 📊 Setup Overview - Instrument: adidas - Bias: Bearish 📉 - Direction: Sell - Focus: Downside continuation - Structure: Weakening - Momentum: Selling pressure increasing - Approach: Technical market-structure analysis Short-term rebounds remain possible within any declining market, but the primary scenario remains focused on the downside while the prevailing conditions continue to support sellers. The objective is to remain aligned with the broader structure, follow the established methodology and allow price action to determine the development of the move. 🔥 Bearish Outlook The current formation indicates that upside attempts are losing effectiveness, while the selling side is gaining greater influence over price behaviour. If this imbalance persists, adidas could enter a deeper corrective phase and explore progressively lower territory. The setup therefore offers a clear bearish framework built around structure, momentum and directional pressure. Weakness developing. Sellers gaining control. Downside remains the focus. 🎯📉
