Ofcom investigates Pornhub over age-verification measures

The UK communications regulator Ofcom has opened an investigation into Pornhub’s age-checking practices. It is examining whether the platform did enough to verify users’ ages and prevent children from accessing pornography. Ofcom raised concerns that the measures may not meet legal requirements for being highly effective.
