Iberia is planning on opening a new lounge at Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD), and it’ll be the carrier’s most exclusive lounge to date (thanks to Alexfly for flagging this). It’s always nice to see airlines introducing new premium facilities, so kudos to Iberia!

Several days ago, Malaysia Airlines made global headlines, when one of the carrier’s pilots was caught smuggling over 70K ecstasy pills into Indonesia. Not only that, but he was then given a drug test, and tested positive for methamphetamine, ecstasy, and cocaine. He was even found to be traveling with a vial of clear urine, in a clear attempt to evade any potential drug tests.
